Approved Software and Technology

Check the Approved Software and Technologies before purchasing or using software for research.

If the product is not listed, ITS approval is required prior to purchase. If HIPAA applies, a security assessment will be required and could take up to four weeks or longer depending on the product.

"Free" (zero cost) products must be reviewed and approved for research use. The  ITS Purchase Request Form is required to ensure adequate protection for the data.
